Mapping The Borders
18th November – 25th November, 10am-6pm

Mapping the Borders exhibition is part of a series of events taking place in the Scottish Borders as part of the Being Human Festival 2017, a celebration of  the humanities. The exhibition will showcase the work of eight artists who have interrogated the idea of the Scottish Borders’: its landscape, culture, traditions and its identity. The exhibiting artists are Zoe Childerley, Mike Collier, Alec Finlay + Gill Russell, Kate Foster, Clare money, Inge Panneels, Andrew Richardson and John Wallace. Each art work will be matched with a corresponding map from the map archive from the National Library of Scotland.

The exhibition will be hosted by Creative Coathanger, in Venue 50, a new place for creative making and thinking in Galashiels.

The exhibition will be open from Saturday 18 till Saturday 25th daily from 10am till 6pm.
